Local stone sculptor and husband of TGS alum, will be coming to school to work with the 6th grade in November. He will give them an introduction to his work and help them plan and execute stone sculptures of their own. As part of this project, he will be creating a 1000 pound stone sculpture for The Grammar School campus. This will be a bolder sized piece of granite that will be delivered by crane. As part of this grant, we got to choose a local public school for him to visit and work with as well. He will spend two classes at The Westminster Center School and work with 6th graders there. I hope you will check out his website and sculptures. This visit and work is paid for by a grant from the Emily Mason and Wolf Kahn Foundation.
