TGS Art Students in Parent Express December 2012

I hope you will look at the December Parent Express issue.  Student art featured in color: Isabelle Grade 1, Liam Grade 5, Lucie Grade K, Mackey Grade 8, Roselle Grade 7, and Willa Grade 3.

3rd Grade Farming Tiles In The Gallery

The third graders made tiles showing farms and farm equipment.  These are glazed and fired and on view in the Dotty Richardson Gallery.  We explored bas relief and additive and reductive sculpting.  We also tried to have foreground, middle ground, and background in each piece.

Final Day of Stone Carving

Sixth grade stone sculptures are in the hallway outside their classroom.  I hope you will stop and see them.  Here are some photos from the final day.  Stay tuned for the installation of the big stone sculpture on campus.
